Hi Bunny

>> If you can't get to the Emma Cook sample sale to get hold of some animal-themed japes which quite often pervade Cook's collections (is anyone excited over the fact that the woodland animal heads that she created for the Topshop Unique A/W 10-11 show are ACTUALLY going into production?), then I've found me a cutie that is on pre-order – an anticipation retail trick that has ya pulling out your purse more frequently.  I don't know a great deal about Fairground other than it's Australia-based (though for some reason, I got confuzzled between a sub-brand of British brand Motel that also bore the same name as well as the fact that Fairground's e-store is listed in GBP…).  Fairground is aiming to be a label that supposedly delivers 'designer' collections at 'mainstream rulers' prices.  An overly ambitious claim perhaps but packing design into a low prices is what they have done with this Bunny Got Nailed piece that was introduced in the S/S 10 collection and worn on the cover of SIA's new album as well as by Marina and the Diamonds at Glasto…

… and now it continues for A/W 10-11 in a texture-heavy, nubbly grey which is now available on pre-order on the e-store

I'm a predictable sucker for bunny ear and this piece seems like a happy marriage between a Kigu suit and a cosy cardi…

Why pray tell am I writing about cosy cardis whilst I'm sweltering in humid Montreal…?  Because I've had tour guides telling me of a white-covered paradise in minus 20 temperatures…. MINUS 20 – I just can't comprehend it without some form of cosiness backing me up…

  1. Yup…was gonna say… maximum design, minimum cost has its drawbacks… I’d personally pay ¬£100 more if it was wool but there ya go….

  2. Hmmm…well I have to agree with most of them here…no impressive..you could have tried without those creepy things on her face…the Black&White version was good though..

  3. Honey that’s nothing, out in central Canada we get minus thirty winters… sometimes in the 40’s with the windchill. Takes more than a bunny cardi to stay alive in that environment… but I’d still love to get me one of those…

  6. Hiya Susie,
I got very excited the first time I saw the animal heads, but I’m estatic that they are going into production!!!

  7. Hi! I love your photo collection so much. Very unique and pretty. And the knit bunny wearings! Wow. I’m so in love with it, and wanna see people wearing anywhere.

  8. Hello, i was waiting for some buzz on fairground. i have one of these coat/jacket things, but it is a denim version. like a big denim jacket. i was given it as a present and has done me well over the past few months as a lightweight jacket. i would love one the bigger knit ones though!
