Sheepskin – plenty of it on bags (including a brilliant bum-bag), coat linings, hoods and shoes.

HEADdresses – yes, those stunning animal heads made by Emma Cook that basically make all of my Animals of Farthing Wood dreams come true.  I EAGERLY asked the PR post-show as to whether they'd go into production and I got a "We hope!" answer back. I'm optimistic‚Ķ

Earthy Tones – my thoughts on khaki, tan and brown are slowly a-turning.  Call me a seasonal lemming.  The trick is to have it mingling with a ton of cosy cream.

Toadstool Print – this is my Fantasia Tchaikovsky portion dreams come true. You see how I'm a simple soul with the things I love all sparking off from the gargantuan amounts of TV/films I watched.

Giant Boxing Type Gloves – I loved them at the McQueen A/W 09 menswear show and here they reappear as furry and oversized gloves that means I may not be able to hold a cup of coffee ok but I'm willing to go without the Americano for a bit. 

The Chance To Get Guide-y – I was never in Girl Guides or Brownies. My mother didn't see it as necessary even though all the popular girls partook. *tear*

Clogs I Can Get Down With – Yes, they have been Chanel-ioed but I'll take the under ¬£100 ones ta very muchy.  

The Very Funny Thing – that of all the outdoors-y themed collections I saw in New York, Topshop Unique managed to articulate it the best despite the fact that well… it's err… a high street brand.

  11. Topshop Unique has to be the most successful move upwards in the fashion world that I’ve witnessed in a long time, they are genuinely very good and gaining deserved cred due to that AND making clothing that average jane can afford to indulge in once in a while.

  24. FANTASTIC, one of my favorite shows so far! I find that all pieces of clothing of this collection are very cool, easy to wear, whether you are going to work in the office every day and both for those who dress in a more eccentric way. Nice collection, at the same time commercial and valuable, with much attention to knitwear and fabrics. I adore the big jacquard pullovers with deers and the parkas in waxed cotton like an old Barbour

  25. Getting more and more inspiration for long dressses. I’m really loving all the awkward lenghts, but now that spring is around the corner I’ll probably have to wait for next fall to indulge in this obsession…
