Thought I’d share this holiday snap of me in Barcelona. This illustrates the results of jumping into H&M and grabbing the first pair of sunglasses you see without trying them on. A pair that engulfs your face and threatens to swallow it up, Nicole Richie-style (that girl’s sunglasses growth is like proportional to the rate at which she’s shrinking). There’s a reason why people in Hong Kong think people who wear sunglasses look haughty and have an attitude problem and this just illustrates that. They really make you look like you’re about to bitch slap someone.
On the plus side, I like how the sun is making my blue ensemble zing in this picture.

thats so true Susie! its seems like no one but celebrities (or wannabes) wear sunglasses in HK!
I love those 70s style glasses. I’d really like a pair of original Wayfarers.I’m going to Hong Kong in a few weeks only a quick stopover in Kowloon Bay , I shall have to resist reaching for my sunglasses 🙁
haha I almost bought them too~! in the end i bought the more square shaped sunnies in the same colour, I’ve worn them constantly here but I don’t think I’ll even pack them for HK~! Going tomorrow~!

when i was on holiday in hong kong with two other girls, they insisted on wearing sunglasses, while i insisted on going without. i think they were oblivious to the fact that nobody wore them.
