Hot Knits

I’m getting pulled in two directions these days with the unpredictable weather.  It’s warm but only warm-ish.  It’s sunny one minute and you turn around and suddenly, it’s grey.  Then there’s the annoying gusty winds.  The point is, it all makes for a difficult time dressing.  I’ve now taken to wearing thin knits with summery things to get me through.  I quite like the contrast of something very covered up and wintry and something softer and a little bit more revealing.

Vintage cream gauzy bat-wing sleeved sweater with red, blue and black stripes, H&M madras check shorts, red knee high socks, 1940’s tan suede shoes // Primark cream jumper, Antoni & Alison dress w/ silver foil skirt, Topshop flat booties

Vintage pale blue short-sleeved cashmere top, lurid floral skirt, patent blue flats, holding pale blue Gap coat // Ebase oversized brown and dusty pink shrug, Uniqloe pale pink scoop neck, dusty pink chiffon skirt, H&M cream boots

Muji grey silk oversized sweater, Louis de Gama oyster satin waistcoat w/ pleated hem, vintage sheer petticoat skirt, silver lurex leggings, Topshop grey wedges // Cream button up cardigan, vintage stripy cardigan tied around front with belt, Sophia Kokosalaki white pleated skirt, Clarks moccasins.

  1. i love your v-neck sweater. i think you call it a jumper.which is so confusing to me as a canadian… 🙂 the weather is the same here, beautiful then storming. it is all too wierd. but i was able to wear tights in the summer.

  2. Hello there,
What a looovely site you have! I can’t believe I stumbled across a pic of the H&M boots! Are they still available or have I missed the boat? I’ve been wanting them for ages but can’t find them anywhere?!
