Inspired by the Thakoon silk necklace, I used a spare piece of black silk to make this rough and ready necklace. Fifteen minutes whilst watching half an episode of Grey’s Anatomy and you have the world’s easiest necklace. It’s no where near as delicate and sculptural as the Thakoon one and it is sans teensy jet beads but I like the fact that you can combine it with other necklaces for different effects or wrap it around the neck in different ways. Like a wardrobe essential, the white t-shirt, this black necklace can act as a base for a lot of things.
