>> This competition doesn't need a jot of promotion from me and I'm not normally into comps (because I've never won any… boo), but I think the mahussive opportunity of it could do with a whooping big shout out.  LN-CC, possibly London's most challenging and intriguing store in Dalston, London, is offering two people from ANYWHERE in the world pretty much a shopping opportunity of a lifetime.  Flights included.  Three nights of hotel in London.  Plus… ¬£15,000 of spending money at LN-CC!!!  I added three exclamation marks there, each one representing a 0 on that whack of a sum. 

The normal score of shopping competitions is that you might get a couple of grand of vouchers and that's considered fairly respectable.  ¬£15,000 however is a different kettle of fish.  That would get you an enviable capsule wardrobe which could consist of pieces from heavyweights like Martin Margiela, Ann Demeulemeester, Jil Sander and Rick Owens, augmented by more decorative pieces from Toga, Haider Ackermann, Ohne Titel and Preen with whimsical Ayame socks and Nicholas Kirkwood brogues thrown into the mix.  It goes without saying that LN-CC's menswear offerings are super strong too, making this a coveted prize for anyone vaguely into fashion.  However for me, LN-CC's womenswear selection grows stronger by the season and from my initial write-up where the label selection was still slightly limited, it has grown and for A/W 11-12 becomes even more enrichened.  Therefore I asked the lovely Charlotte Hall, PR and marketing director of LN-CC (you may have seen her in the latest issue of O: Observer's Fashion supplement…) to model a selection of the womenswear that's in store at the moment.  She's standing in the darker corridors of LN-CC but I promise that for the lucky two that win the prize, they'll have a stonkingly good time raiding the store in its various themed chambers.  The closing date I believe is 30th June and all you need to do is recommend two of your friends that you think might be into LN-CC here to enter.  Not to sound like an infomercial but just to reiterate… that's ¬£15,000!!!

  12. I nearly had a heart attack when i saw LN-CC and £15,000. Seriously. I cant actually speak at the moment.
    However i have a feeling I wont win seeing as I live in London and this competition is an opportunity for international people. 🙁 makes me sad 🙁

  16. Ello! I’m so sorry I tried to hyperlink the link so that it opens in another tab but that doesn’t seem to work for the ln-cc link so I have reinserted it – should be working now!
    If you went to the LN-CC homepage, there is a direct link to the comp there too…
