>> I know it must feel like it's all been a bit "Oh look… there I am in a magazine!" posting-wise… but I promise I'm really only posting this for the sake of being informative…
I do have a very sprawling mass of a London Shops Google Map (which needs updating in some places… working on it!) and I know I do refer people to it knowing that it might be somewhat confusing because there are SO MANY shops on it. That said, I also find it difficult to break down my favourite places to shop which is sort of dependent on… what area I'm in, what mood, the weather, monetary status, what am I looking for, what day, what time of the day, what food can I procure nearby… in otherwords an overall top 10 in London for me is pretty impossible.
For a Hong Kong magazine Weekend Weekly (sort of like a newspaper supplement) I took them around a few spots around my local vicinity as well as getting them to investigate The Shop on Cheshire Street, Shop 172 and The Lazy Ones. I think this gives a pretty good overview of a day where I might take the 43 bus down for a morning (EARLY!) shopping gander, have lunch at Elk and the Woods in Angel, then if I'm bothered, head on down to Brick Lane and finish up in Story Deli … Saturday, rather than Sunday… sunny with a breeze (22 degrees celcius…), and if I'm feeling fairly flush with the cash. Basically, I'm an unpredictable weather-sensitive weird lifeform whose life revolves around meal times.
It's all in Chinese of course but me thinks the pics, captions and the few bits of English are fairly self-explanatory…
My Sugarland needs no introduction but in true Far East Asian-magazine-style, they've picked out some of the store's products and have laid them out along with prices and it's all very helpful, practical and demonstrative…
Note: The little quotes they have floating over aren't my actual words…because errr… some of it makes sort of no grammatical sense…it's a sort of Chinglish way of writing that I can never really understand…
I wish I could have taken away these John Rocha shoes and the Irwin and Jordan waistcoat I was wearing…
Palette is somewhere I haven't written about before… namely because I always got too scared to explain to the owner that I'm a blogger etc etc etc. It does have an amazing vintage collection though and I found out the owner has over 600 pieces that consists of couture Dior, Givenchy, Alaia, Chanel… I may try and probe him for a peek into his collection…
And of course the Brick Lane trio you know all about from previous posts… I haven't actually frequented the trio of late… waiting for the right type of sky, a hankering for crispy crusty pizzas and maybe a smidge more moolah….

I agree with you. Here we realize that our existence would need new strategy, new style. New factors can bring new really feel and new practical experience to us. Just like your weblog, it take me to some new state. It really is so fantastic that I can not leave.
You are introduced as a Hong Kong girl living in New York. I’d like to know when you moved to New York. I envy your job and your English….- –
