>> Don't be alarmed by the possible deja vu here.  I have actually written about CSM MA graduate Hampus Bernhoff's collection and shoes before.  I just didn't know that he had sneakily put his show shoes from about two years ago up for sale on Not Just a Label where I took a closer look and realised that Bernhoff's hybrid of 70s platforms (the real chunky ones that normally create a level shoe with not too much of an arch…), zig zag ridge tyres and the Coca Cola Santa's curly wurly beard need to be revisited for obvious shoe trending reasons.  Ticking the following… clog-like, old school preppy, furry/shearling-type textures and the omnipresent double question marks that have been hovering shoes from Louis Vuitton's S/S 10 metal tube kitten heels to Chanel's clogs of "Is this ugly?" and "Why am I drawn to this?".  Ok, I'm predicting a big resounding 'Yes!' to the first collection.  Though there's something in my weak non-calcium filled bones that is telling me that there could be some of you out there that will silently be nodding and wondering…

  1. Loving the blue peep toe ones, you are right about the arch. Slightly disconcerted by the bearded ones (shoes and the Coco Cola Santa!)and the first pair are major retro yahs – who wore them, Bowie or the Bay City Rollers yikes!

  13. The shearling ones are all kinds of wrong I don’t even know where to start. They sort of look….moldy somehow! The platforms are kinda fun though, in a Slade circa 1974 way.

  17. i find them incredible. i love when someone dares to do something different. I prefer the once without the sheariling, but I think they are fun aswell. This is what fahsion is about. Pushing the boundaries!!!
