Back and Forth ))((

I rewatched Miranda July's Me and You and Everyone We Know, savouring everything about it and remembering why I loved this film so much.  Of course, the most memorably bits forms the title of this post.  Except I'm cutting out the 'poop' bit and just thinking of the 'back and forth' and applying it to the pink cage leather skirt by I Heart Norwegian Wood (still not up on Etsy yet but I know Angie is working extremely hard to get it up there asap… I believe there is a 'cage leather skirt' email waiting list at the moment… never though I'd type that out…).

I keep going back to it, still dumfounded by its versatility.  It seems it's one of those things that I can throw on randomly without too much thought and pre-meditation, precisely the opposite of what one would think of a "skirt with holes in it" made out of leather (a drunk bloke outside a pub pointed out the fact that I was wearing a skirt with holes in it… just in case he thought I left the house and had holes cut-out 'accidentally').  Leggings and a drapey tee is the easy formula and then because of the extra hippage space Angie has built into the skirt, over multiple skirts/dresses/tights it can go too…

Seeing as I'm nursin' a man with suspicious flu symptoms, better to test different formulae out with a flash slideshow and an indulgent bit of Michael Andrews' Casio keyboard dreamy score from the film (**EDIT** Have switched the sound off now that everyone's had an earful for a day but you can turn the sound on via the navigation bar in the middle)
