It does feel a little odd that from September onwards, talking about Topshop isn’t going to be resulting in moans of ‘But I don’t have a Topshop near me…’ seeing as they’re aiming with worldwide domination, starting with the ma-hussive New York store (the opening will be a sight to see… will be planning on going just to be highly amused…).
So, us Brit bloggers posting about Topshop stuff isn’t completely irrelevant to the rest of the world. Anyhow, the campaign images for the AW08 stuff have come out (nice of them to use the old tubes…) and the only thing that is really catching my eye are these Emma Cook for Topshop boots. I’m hoping the forthcoming collaboration also includes clothes too as I was quite delighted with her AW08-9 stunning comeback collection. Nonetheless, despite everyone harping on about spindly elegant spiky shoes for the next season, a pair of PERFECT chunky boots will always be keep me happy…
¬£150 for the booties is a lotta dough but in the same way that Preen sold the exact shoes they did on their runway for AW07 and SS08 in Topshop, I’m treating these as a designer buy that will enable me to trek through the…erm… dangerous climes of London…
Ohhh i looovvvee the boots you are so right chunky boots are always a must but i have to say i prefere flat boots so there a bit rock chic! Love the pink lace corset on the second image and the black dress/playsuit? on the first! make up is good too!

And this may sound weird, but I prefer the boots on the models than in the product pictures. I know they are the same though. This is something I would have to see in real life to make a decision on I think.
I should just face reality and open a Topshop savings account, right? I can’t believe I am so into those lingerie bustier tops. Ridiculous. But I have a feeling I will go nuts in there once it opens.
Love them, but eek so pricy. Am also eyeing up those shiny leather (pleather?) trousers in the last pic and the lace bustier.. September is going to be a hard month for sure..
depending on the height, i would definitely splash out on these, for one this to fill my ice skater boot hole from last season
God they are gorgeous, I hope they are a bit more “walkable” than most TopShop shoes at that price though!

OMG I love these! I missed out on similar boots last year. And i’ve so always wanted to do a photoshoot on the old tubes..the orange and brown used to give me a headache!x
