No this isn’t somebody hanging up laundry in an odd and arbitrary way but actually the Haider Ackermann exhibition at the Villa Noailles.  Yes, I should be so lucky as to stumble upong a shipwreck on a beach with a ton of Haider Ackerman jerseys, coats, jackets and dresses strung up and intertwined with rope…

The pleating on thie skirt was particularly mesmerising…

It’s no wonder they closed off the exhibition for the closing party at the Villa… to prevent drunken me stumbling in here and grabbing a soft jersey cardi for warmth…

  1. I love this way of displaying the clothes…it does have a shade of shipwreck to it, but it reminds me of clotheslines blown dow in a storm..

  2. i wish the pile of clothes rejected for the day could resemble this cool “strewn-all-over-the-place” installation, haha

  3. I know this is a few posts back, but I absolutely fell in love with Des Moines and was wondering where I could buy it…I’m actually located in the states and I’ve had no luck finding a website or anything that carries the line! Please, please help. 😀

  4. I love Hackermann’s clothes. Sorry, but I really like calling him Hackermann 🙂

  5. Cate: You don’t wanna know…
Elisa: Des Moines can’t be bought in the US yet but they will be getting their website live soon I believe where you can buy online… in the meantime, I’d contact them directly through their blog and see what they can do for you!
