Remember my own homage to the great Minnie Mouse? Well Katie Grand who first put the ideas into my head with her Minnie Mouse tribute in the fall issue of Pop magazine channelled Miss Minnie Mouse very well in reality at the British Fashion Awards.
Everything would have been a little too elegant what with that long full skirt and prim puff sleeve blouse if she DIDN’T adorn her head with that oversized polka dot bow. Her power-dressing stance as well with the crossed arms would have also been too stand-offish had the bow not been there to suggest otherwise.
Dear Minerva Mouse would have approved indeed….

I didn’t know Minnie was called Minerva by given name ^^
This look is so fab, I have to go and customise my own oversize bow right now.
possibly the first galliano item i’ve seen worn in such a casual way! i love the way shes paired it with subtle polka dots and a long skirt rather than a short skater skirt which would be my obvious combo.
oh dear, my cats give the same expression when i try to put clothes on them.
LOL! I love that picture. The expression plus bow = fabulous.
Love the picture and look – fab lol
