Correct me if I’m wrong but I get a very APC-ish feeling from Acne Jeans – their website, the way the clothes are presented and of course the cult status both labels have with regards to their denim. I never got into the whole Acne-obsessed jeans thing seeing as I’m not jeans-savvy at all but I have been loving what Acne are doing with their clothing collections. The first routine pitstop I make when I’m in Paris, I wonder if I should do the same when I go to Stockholm. Difference being, Acne is a tad on the hefty side, especially with jackets costing up to 750 euros, but the mood they have created for their spring summer 2007 is definitely agreeing with me. The design is just that smidge more complex and with more depth than APC and a little on the dangerous side. Not to knock APC at all seeing as it still triumphs when it comes to taking the basic and truly making it magnificent. However, I have room to accomodate two A’s in my ‘basics with a twist’ label loves.

I love your site, good stuff!
do not like it … the Acne stuff here… photobucket went up again??
When are you going to Stockholm and what are you gonna do there?
I agree with you, I have to say nevertheless that I do like the colours!
Acne is one of the best brands and design from Sweden.
Do you like any others?
Whyred, Hope-Sthlm, Minimarket, Rodebjer, Carin Wester?
I know you’ve been asked by others before, but I don’t remember the answear; can you invite me to The Fashion Spot? Or can you maybe tell me where else to ask? I’ve told you before, but really, you’re a great blogger:)
I just love Acnes stuff! Right now I’m totally in love with a pair of jeans. I have to have them 😛
I was totally in love with the low boots that were available (but anymore!) on brownsfashion.com but I missed them… from what you show us, the new collection looks stylish and elegant, I just love the pants on the last picture (jeans again!)
I always think it’s very over priced for what it is. I have Acne jeans from a few years ago and they are just dreadful – the stretched all out of shape and faded after a few cold washes.
Sus – you don’t need an invite for the Fashion Spot, it’s open to everyone as far as I know.
hi from anina.net! i am back in amsterdam setting up the project!
lost your contact info. looking at your blog i love the colors. so fresh.
i sent you an email from here.
talk to you soon and so great to meet you. i have a beautiful photo of you and clautilde.
Anina: I will reply to your email! Send me the pic if you could – that would be fab!
Sus & DJM: The Fashion Spot at the moment is invite-only and unfortunately, I have given out all of my invites. Unless you know another person on TFS who has spare invites, there isn’t really a way of getting on. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!
Oh really? I wonder if I have invites then. Sus, I’ll give you an invite if I have any to give
oh I just live Acne. their stuff looks way cooler in the store! I just got that button-skirt and the fit is amazing (check out my blog for pics) But, Carin Wester and Minimarket are my faves.
Very good collection. Congratulation.
I adore ACNE. It’s stylish, elegant, unique and incredibly feminine. It would be my perfect brand, wouldn’t there be that tiny little problem that I can’t afford anything of it.
Acne make great jeans 🙂 Amazing collection!
