How skinny one can go….

Girls who can pull off skinny skinny pants make me jealous.  Guys in skinny skinny pants make me even more jealous.  I’ll put my hands up.  A lot of guys I know seem to possess the perfect physique for skinny pants.  They’re naturally straight up and down.  They can wear them VERY tapered.  It’s no wonder guys can raid girls’ jeans department.  At least girls get the option of utilising heels to slim and elongate the legs but no, guys have to rely on Mother Nature’s lengthly limbs.  As clearly demonstrated by this French guy I snapped on Oxford Street.

  1. susie skinny pants look fantastic on you! you have a great figure! what about poor old me? i have quite round hips, something like jlo, and skinny trousers certainly dont work for me. and i am devastated! Cos they look fantastic! and seeing men wearing really really skinny jeans..well..it just makes me more crazy! i hate my thighs!

  2. Ah…but there’s the other side of it. I actually think skinny jeans look fabulous on curvier girls. Something about the wider hips and then tapering down. I think with the right pair of jeans, they really look fab on girls with curves.
    I’m slim but not exactly skinny so I can’t do the adrogynous skinny pants look nor can I do the sexy curvy skinny jeen thing.
    A bit of a crux really….

  3. Actually, I think that if you have wider hips, you’ll just end up looking like an ice cream cone in skinny jeans. Know what I mean?

  4. I don’t find men in skinny jeans appealing at all. It’s very feminine, and unless you’re David Bowie or something one should not attempt it.

    and you’re so brave, I don’t think I have the guts to go up and ask somebody to take a picture of them! Unless I was looking particularly fierce in my own clothes that day…

  6. I LOVE guys in skinny jeans! I always turn around for a second look when I see one. Sadly my boyfriend is one of those unlucky guys with too muscular and short legs for this look.

  7. I must say I’m not a fan of guys in skinny jeans. I think they look slightly comical as they obviously must be super skinny to wear them, but being guys they still have their big clown feet sticking out at the bottom and that kinda looks silly to me. Could this guy look any more French though? Neck-tie? Check. Tanned skin? Check. Stripey T-shirt? Check. All thats missing is the beret and string of garlic around his neck!

  9. hehe:) well, i dont like men in skinny jeans either i mean i would not be attracted to one,as i like guys who are ..hm..guys!very masculine and everything! but on style and fashion terms i thnik men wearing skinny are really cool:)
