My apologies if those of you who actually followed my advice and trekked to the Vivienne Westwood sale today at the Elcho Street studios. It turns out I was mis-informed of the date and in fact, the sale is NEXT Saturday 10th June to Sunday 11th June. Fool, that I am, I galloped over to the sale today only to find a bemused gardener tending the plants outside the studio and a few other mis-informed Japanese people. Apparently, the ad that ran in the Metro publicising the sale got the dates wrong and that the correct ad was published in the Evening Standard. I apologise profusely if I have sent any of you on a wild goose chase, especially on a sweltering, blistering hot London day! If it’s any consolation, I was fooled too!
