Here is my badly edited video of some of the stuff that was shown at the RCA MA fashion show yesterday. There were many grads whose work I admired and my faves aren’t in this reel but it’s just to give you a feel for the show. Excuse the screaming music during Karin Peterson’s show because her collection was actually quite impressive even if the music was distracting! I thought Corinna Godwin’s collection was lovely too – reminds me of Shelley Fox’s work.

Im obsessed with fashion as well and im loving your blogs 😉 im from HK as well and im studying at Kings in london. Do you know if there are any fashion programs or societies in london for people like me who are really interested in designing but don’t study it to join?? =)

Mila. Ah you’re at Kings are you – our rival school, I went to UCL. The only fashion society I know of is MODO at UCL. It’s a university society but I think anybody from U of L can join. I thought Kings had their own society too. I really don’t know of any kind of non-professaionl fashion societies unfortunately. Have you thought about taking evening classes/short courses at CSM? They’re not really intense study-wise and they’re for ppl who are interested in fashion rather than ppl who wish to pursue it as a career. You could meet lots of like-minded ppl that way! I nearly joined one of their Stylist courses but thought £550 was a bit steep to drop on a course.
