This is a trend I’d LOVE to see in reality, if only for novelty and comedy value. When I saw these equestrian helmuts making their way down Balenciaga’s A/W06 show, my eyebrows were raised in a bemused fashion. Here they are realised in the latest Paris Vogue, modelled by Lily Donaldson, photographed by Patrick Demarchelier. The editorial is beautifully done and the sillhouette is very striking. But will I be seeing rip-off copies in Topshop come September? Will scores of girls be raiding equestrian stores for helmuts? I have about 5 of these hats at home from my horse riding days….dare I don them out? Only time will tell…..

What a cute helmut is that. it seems too heavy if you wear that. but anyways the style was totally cool and very attractive. i love the helmut color white. kee it up!
