So I was deciding upon the fate of my gypsy/hippie/boho skirts that I had lounging around from 2-3 years ago and it really is quite ridiculous that they should have to be banished to the back of my closet just because the catwalk is dictating minimalist, cool, clean-cut, preppy chic. Of course, I can’t bring myself to revisit the boho past of 2005 (not that I was really into it then either…..!) so here is what I have come up with….
To wintrify the skirt, I wore this vintage multi-coloured floral skirt as a dress (as Meg suggested!) with lots of black (Kookai short-sleeved polo neck, cotton tights), Topshop patent flats and wooden beads.
I used stripes to prep up this vintage purple/blue long skirt and wore the skirt higher than usual (like a college skirt), added a navy beret, Office navy suede pumps and a old navy school uniform belt.
I tried to make this Miss Selfridge pale blue tiered skirt look more modern by adding a grey jersey grecian draped top, grey leggings, Topshop grey wedges and an A.P.C. tweed vest.
I wanted to dress up this grey and white H&M floral skirt (as opposed to wearing this kind of skirt with the usual thong sandals and white tank) with a vintage yellow silk cropped jacket and Topshop silvery/grey satin long top, with some vintage Roland Cartier cream bow heels.
On your last couple of posts I can’t see any of the pictures :(..I have firefox but have tried it on explorer and they dont load on there either..I can’t take it I need to be able to see your pretty pictures!lol..any ideas? Or is it just my weird computer? X
Hmmm…I’m not really sure why you’re not seeing them….I’m ok with my pics… I’ve checked it on both my Mac (Netscape, Safari) and my PC (IE). Is it just these pictures that you can’t see or every picture on my blog?

Thanks for the reply. None of the pictures load, I use to be able to see them fine but now they just leave spaces where they would be. The links don’t load either. So it could be my computer or something. I hope it sorts its self out I can’t take not seeing the pictures! xxx

Just thought I’d let you know I got those links to work, copied them into google and added www. to the start. But the photos on your site still aren’t loading on my computer. So don’t really know what he problem could be but thanks anyways. Elspeth x

Elspeth…I’m very baffled as to why that is. Have you tried my blog on any other computer at school/work or a friend’s house to verify whether it is a problem with your browser?
Were you ever able to see my pics or is it a problem that has occured recently?
Also, if you browse back to my earliest posts – can you see the pics there because they are hosted by my blog provider – Typepad. It’s only later that I started to use Photobucket to host my photos because I was running out of space here!
I have always been able to see the photos/pictures til recently, from the post about 2% I wasn’t able to see them and went back at further posts and now can’t see any of them either. I can’t think why it is really strange. But oh well I will just continue copying the link location and going to google and adding the www. at the start of photobucket as then I am able to see them, but just one at a time, but don’t mind as long as I can see them some way.
