My frustration at not being able to see the short film ‘Wendy Bird’ featuring Kirsten Dunst wearing Erin Featherstone has just been increased even further by these pics and interview in Above magazine. They were shot by Ellen Von Unworth, the director of the film. Erin on why Kirsten’s role in the film:
‘Kirsten was really great. I’d cast her as the one girl who is a bit of a rebel from the start and when she was truly freed by the clothes it was amazing.’
When asked what is the purpose behind the film:
‘You can certainly see the fabric in motion but for me capturing the spirit and romance was more important. A film lets you view the clotehs more than just having a runway show that exists for a few momenst and is over but I don’t think you do one instead of a show. This is my first time showing a collection in the pret a porter calendar and very important to me. The film gives people an idea but people really want to have a closer look at the clothes later during the show.’
Yes but the question is, now that WE the plebs have seen the catwalk clothes, when can we see the film?
