> What does travelling around Asia for an intense three weeks beget you? A husk of a human being, permanently displaced in another time zone whilst constantly falling asleep, apparently. Yes, yes, posting has been on / off. Yes, yes some bigger issues that are swirling around fashion need addressing. For now? A quickie outfit recap slash handy filler to tide me over until tomorrow when I expect to miraculously recover from this post-Asia slump and have a pretty juicy trio of posts that I’m pretty excited about.
Whilst it seems like an inappropriate time to be promoting yet more “stuff” to wear – it’s this abundance of “stuff” that is apparently creating a pressure cooker environment within the fashion industry – I can’t help but commend the pieces that I’ve been getting so much wear out of lately, not just during fashion week but also beyond on my Asia trip. The Dorateymur silver boots for instance, that are burnished at the sides from excessive rubbing. A pair of Topshop ribbed flared trousers that have been a layering saviour. Coach’s chunky but practical outerwear. And in contrast, Molly Goddard’s tulle dream frocks. Sure it’s all “stuff” but it’s gooooood stuff at that.

It’s a little detail (in a series of outfits with no shortage of details!) but I love both how those Acne aviator sunglasses look on you and how they shift, just a smidge, the whole vibe of the outfit. Cool.
