>> Who knew that Tesco's horsemeat scandal would yield an actual fashion collection? I didn't make it to Yazbukey's presentation in Paris but re-seeing their collection in London was enough for me to cheer on their cheeky supermarket wares. As we now know a packet purporting to contain beef burgers may not actually contain beef and so Yazbukey pokes fun at the idea of the empty promise of packaging. It's not all surface though as beneath beneath the pretty pastel-sheen of a pack of Yazbukey Extra Cool Mint gum or a bottle of 2 in 1 Splash detergent are functioning accessories, which have been the stable of Yazbukey's acrylic perspex world. Add to that the memories of Supermarket Sweep, where you wondered what they filled those aisles with (nothing ACTUALLY produced by Dale Winton I hope) and you have a camp as Christmas collection. Speaking of which, according to the adverts of faux-fairy tales, sleeping bears and jolly Santas, Christmas is just around the corner and Yazbukey would be great gift fodder. I'm not sure why Yazbukey hasn't got onboard the e-commerce train yet because with their easy-on-the-eye, fly-off-the-shelf type visuals, it would be a simple sell. For now, colette ramains their most staunch stockist.

I feel like I might need to have that Lucky Strike/Live Fast Die Young …purse?
Any idea it might be stocked? Collette just isn’t on it, and that makes me a little sad.
Many Thanks
