Yard Sale Reminder

>> I'm a bit snowed under prepping for the yard sale which is why it's looking a bit empty here today.  Those coming to our N7 yard sale will thank me later when they hap upon shirts and dresses that aren't hideously creased and rubbish looking.  We've had a few changes and new additions to our blogger line-up and you'll now also be chomping on chicken satay a la Susie tomorrow (I'm marinating chicken instead of blogging today).  I can't promise they'll be half as good as the satay that the lovely Tommy of This is Naive provided two years ago but I'll give them a fighting chance.  We're also going to have a bit of live entertainment hopefully courtesy of an acoustic set by Milly Blue, playing the sort of chilled summer-y stuff that the day calls for.  Y'all are welcome to bring your own deckchairs and drinks of course.

As for the stuff you can expect – having sorted through things carefully, it's quite a liquorice allsorts – Acne, Dries Van Noten, Balenciaga, Vivienne Westwood, Sergio Rossi and lots of colourful vintage will be in the mix as well as lots of high street bits from the usual suspects.  Prices will start from about a fiver (maybe less) and I'll only be taking cash.  See you all there!

  2. Oh wow. I have to be somewhere at 1pm, I really hope I can come early because this seems amazing!

  3. Hi Susie. I’m just wondering if you will put your clothes for sale online, sometime in the distant future? I really like your style but I live across the Atlantic ocean, and since it’s not like I can just hop on a plane tomorrow I can’t go to these yard sales you have ‚òπ

  4. I like doing yard sales because it eliminates the boring and laborious process of listing everything, taking photos and making sure they’re well represented online. It’s always easier to sell something in person than it is to make it look good for online I think….
I’ll think about it but for now, it’s just a lot easier (and frankly a lot more fun!) doing these yard sales….

  5. Hi Susie, I would like to know how often you make this kind of sales? And if it’s possible to join you?
    Best Regards,
    Kate Noir

  6. Hi Susie, it was really lovely to meet you and the other peeps this afternoon – still can’t believe I am now the proud owner of a pair of Nicholas Kirkwoods…for only ¬£50!

  7. Wish I was in London. How great to have a yard sale that’s almost curated fashion exhibit, instead of people cleaning out the skeletons in their closet.

  8. Susie! I’m the one who turned up very late and thumbed through your packed bags of clothes and was impressed by your Christopher Kane blush dress. You disappeared before I could say the following to you (and a goodbye). I wanted to say that having been a Style Bubble reader since its beginning, I think it is disproportional the number of times I have visited your blog vs. the number of times you have mine. So I wanted to show you my blog, it’s http://stylezeitgeist.blogspot.com
