>> My head-to-toe-hit Topshop outfit this season was the knitted flares and matching lurex cardigan, deemed a hit because it took people by surprise when I pronounced it to be Topshop. Whilst Topshop excels at providing every need for our mix n' match whims and fancies (Kate Phelan quite rightly said "Topshop isn't there to tell you how to dress. It's not like Zara which basically guides you around the trends. Topshop is there for you to develop your own style."), when the collection does come up trumps, it's ok to adhere to the somewhat head-to-toe rulebook and go for the 'naff' total look.
I'm not really allowed to bung up too many pics from the Topshop S/S 12 press day but this sherbet yellow and candy pink gradiated jacket and matching trousers will definitely be my next heat-to-toe Topshop look come January/February, preferably with a jumper and shirt underneath that matches the shrimp n' banana shades tone for tone. No need to point the obvious edible delights that this outfit conjures up…
i wanna see you wearing it!
