Donatella Versace is awesome because she has continued the Versace legacy seamlessly after the sad loss of Gianni, and has more recently formed a beautiful partnership with Christopher Kane – together they create the stunning Versus collections. Kane described her as being ‘the funniest person that he has ever met’ and a joy to be around – Donatella is just so lovable.

2. Versace creates amazing pieces. She uses bold colored silks and bling for this collection. Who doesn’t love her ? And this dress is just a must for my wardrobe. Fringe and hearts designs, who would have thought of them together ?

3. What a fab comp! Hmm so why do I think Donatella is so awesome because seriously nobody else in the world could pull of her look, except maybe Lady Gaga who I think she might be secretly training to stand in as her double when needed. I love that she has THE blondest hair and THE tanest tan!

   Anyway, she dares, she makes sexy, she compliments a women’s body, and she combines color, leather and gold (how amazing is that!). Her designs are not for everyone, but that makes her and Versace unique. It’s great she’s working with H&M, as this makes it able for more women to own a piece of this amazing designer (like me… Fingers crossed). This also makes her a visionary, I think.

Her designs exhibit sex and beauty of women in a refined and glamorous way. The sophisticated pieces such as the metallic disco dress and the animal-print tank dress embody a thoughtful mix of femininity and modernity. She is amazing enough to make you feel like a goddess when you wear her designs even you are not in an ideal body shape.
    Under Gianni Versace’s muse and inspiration, Donatella moves a step forward in introducing the brand into the new generation. Susie bubble probably wont even see this comment but hey ho …. this is my first time ever entering this kind of shizzz firstly because i never win anything and secondly because i never find the right words to explain wht i wana say however im entering this coz i think stlyebubble is the only blog where i can actually read critical evaluation of fashion beasides most other bloggers jus pose about how amaxing their belt is and their hand bags bla bla bla ….
    anyway for the competition … to me donatella is one of a kind and shes cool… amaxing … again cant find the right words … hope the best person wins 😀

89. I keep coming to this post, weighing whether or not I want to play. After all, in all honesty, trying to define why Donatella Versace is awesome is an exercise in futility. I don’t know her like you do, although I wish I did, if simply because I admire her tenacity, fearlessness, and the fact that she makes aging seem absolutely sexy. Alas, I don’t know her, I don’t know what she’s like. So, I can’t really gush about her. I personally would feel inauthentic writing a manifesto on Versace’s awesomeness because I actually think that flies in the face of the spirit of this kick ass collection. But, I’m playing anyway. Part of what I love about this collection is how raw and authentic it is. I /can/, then, and /will/ drool and giggle like a little Monchhichi over her collaboration with H&M. With the H&M collection, Donatella makes the decadent look classy and the opulent necessary. This collection is not trying to be something it is not, and I find that so enthralling. That authenticity gives me a boner. I suspect that if I ever have the pleasure of meeting Versace, these are things I would end up saying about her as well.
    Oh, and please please pretty please, when you send the dress, throw in the Six London shoes you’ve designed. I think they would look divine with it ;-).

90. Donatella is amazing because it’s like almost seven in the morning and I am reading and searching all about her new collection for H&M (I’ve been doing that from five 5 am today and Ididnt realised that it’s almost time to get up and go to work). Every photo, every outfit I found has connection with my personal life and i can imagine myself using not only this dress, but the most of the clothes, in several situations. So, she inspires, she’s perfectly able to “touch” every woman desire by creating clothes to continue the work of his brother, Gianni. It’s more than glamour. It’s a work made of her knowledge and soul. If I could, I just would like to say thank you to Donatella. She’s bringing her own universe, memories, life to the women that for several reasons just cannot afford with a proper Versace outfit. It’s more than fashion. It’s lifestyle. All made with love and passion. 🙂 (ok now its five past seven and I have to get up. Have a lovely day, Susie)

91. Donatella is so awesome because she makes Rockin’ Good Clothes year after year – she’s a Style Goddess, a Creative Deity, and an Immortal among Fashionistas Everywhere!!

92. Donatella is awesome because it always feels like she has taken Versace in the direction Gianni would have wanted it to go. She references the archives, creates new iconic moments, and creates glamorous, stylish, and beautiful clothing season on season.

94. Donatella is so creative and always creates cute little dresses I always want (…but can’t really afford). But her designs always inspire me =)

95. Versace is my favourite brand because of how fun everything Donatella designs is! I love wearing this little black dress I got YEARS ago to cocktail parties, and I have Donatella’s sense of glamour and creativity to thank for that!

96. Donatella is amazing because of how she churns out collection after collection, and I find myself wanting every piece. Like, the season she did the heart-zipper?! GORGEOUS!!!
