>> This isn't so much filler as a travel marker post just to say that I'm in Iceland playing tourist, fashion voyeur and chomping on as much fish as I can (is it possible that I MAY prefer Icelandic fish and chips to my beloved British sort?).  Pics of Geyser Strokkur here should give you the National Geoegraphic/Travel Channel-esque snapshot that demonstrates one example of the intense/immense landscape that Iceland has to offer.

What sort of a fashion blogger would I be if I do a cheesy outfit shot even if I was dressed for comfort, swathed in cashmere wraps, cardis and jumpers (I had two cashmere jumpers underneath the shirt)…

In amongst the rusting rocks, we found a precious artefact indeed… a hipster woz here…

(Benetton cardi, Monki striped shirt, Topshop Unique trousers, vintage boots, See by Chloe bag)

The one bit of decoration came aptly in the form of this Brook and Lyn necklace in collaboration with Of a Kind who have been pumelling hard at producing meaningful product collabs since I last wrote about them when they started up, as well as telling the stories behind the designer putting content-focused sites like mine to shame.  I want to say I'm trying to connect Mimi Jung's agate stones (she combs through factories for hours looking for the right ones) with the setting of Icelandic geysers but me thinks that would be a geoscience mess… but err… hey… it's hot steam, rusting rocks and beautiful purple agate – combine those things and it gets you a swell close-up photo which is entirely the point, right?
