Lainey

>> I'm trapped in my own home due to an electric front gate malfunction.  Perhaps a passing Arsenal fan will let me out in bit when the game starts but in the meantime, I'm sat here, feeling like a deranged loon and having an outer body experience whilst contemplating what brand of cashmere shampoo to be buying to take care of this Lainey Keogh cashmere wrap that was a birthday gift.  If you've seen me walking about town with my face half-buried (or you wouldn't have seen me I guess…), it's all down to this thick wad of a wrap that is well and truly the softest thing I own.  Two different shades of grey dominate this wrap that also came with a delicious scent that is slowly fading away, overtaken by my merry-go-round of scents.

Like the terrifying house wife that I'm doomed to become, I've also been glued to Daily Candy's 'How to Wash' video by The Laundress which leads me to believe their own branded cashmere shampoo might be the ticket.

I've also just scrubbed the fridge.  Really hard.

Barmy house wife over and out.  Here's to being let out of this self-imposed cashmere cage soon…

  2. Hahahaha there are times when I accidentally stepford out and go on a cleaning/baking rampage and don’t come to until I realize I have a Martha Stewart-worthy spread of cookies in front of me….. Then I eat my shame away. Or at least replace it with shame of a different sort.
Sometimes I think a really soft cashmere wrap is the new security blanket.

  3. The duo force of the DailyCandy videos and J.Crew’s inclusion of The Laundress products online is all too persuasive!
