Happy Filler

>> I was determined to be the complete opposite of what today's weather was – grey, dank, drizzly and outwardly depressing.  Well, I'm not sure if this outfit is err… non-drizzly but I'm hoping it is an outfit that is happiness contained in bajillion prints.  Thanks to Wayne Tippets for this particular snap here that pretty much is as many highlighter colours in an outfit as you can think, going beyond the mainstay green yellow and pink trio here and including the orange and turquoise shades that come in a bonus pack of highlighters.  On a day where the likes of Louise Gray, Jonathan Saunders, J.W. Anderson and House of Holland had shots of brights running through their collection, I didn't feel too out of place despite the sea of trenches, winter coats and furs about.  Like I said my secret weapon goes under the layers… and this time round it was a cashmere jumper underneath it all that prevented me from shivering to death.

There'll be a few other methods of combating the grey that I have up my posting sleeve as you'll soon find out over the next few days…

  2. Yesterday morning I got a bit lost and ended up at the backstage entrance and a very unhelpful security man. I spotted you in the corridor and wanted to tell you your outfit was amazing!! However I was too scared to say so, in my uninspired, monochrome outfit. It was a wayne’s world “we are not worthy” moment for me.
I’ve said what I had to say

  3. I saw you outside Topshop in this, never would have noticed it was you but the highlighter colours arrested my eyes from a head-down-stay-dry-charge through oxford street to work. I love seeing your colour combos (even though i’m very much a back in black girl) and I love these shoes more now I’ve seen them in person. x

  5. I saw a close up shot of the prints on Style.com’s Street Style section, I thought it was so refreshing to see someone have fun with clothes, and I thought it was clever how the prints all clash yet match at the same time (I don’t know if that makes sense). It’s refreshing to see someone have fun with clothes, colours and fashion in the sea of black that is fashion.
