>> This is a gratuitous one-pic, no-consequnce post which is vaguely significant to me because it represents one of many Doh! moments during fashion week. I've had my fair share of those and they normally happen at the peak of Paris fashion week – falling down the escalator and wrecking my ankle, missing Celine last season and crying in front of a taxi driver, sitting down at Lanvin last minute with my knees covered in grit and blood, nose-bleeding outside the tents in London, losing my Blackberry (but getting it back) in New York. The list does go on… and it involves other bouts of blood and tear-gushing (but thankfully no sweat – I strangely don't sweat that much which used to freak people out in PE class…).
This picture was taken outside the Louis Vuitton show this season by Mr Newton. Sadly, I was precisely two minutes too late for the show due to it starting in Marc 'bang-on' Jacobs punctual fashion, and weirdly enough, my face here looks like it doesn't really give a crap (even though it was as it turns out, a bloody good key show…). It's a captured fashion week Doh! moment for sure, but it's also one that sees me whimsically and manically smiling to myself and nodding "Yes, I'm going hoooooome! I'm missing a show and I MAY or MAY not be caring…. oh shit… FUCK, is it wrong not to care at this point?"
(Vintage velvet shirt, Under.Ligne padded shoulder tee, vintage trench with sleeves cut off, vintage Loewe leather trousers, See by Chloe bag via Beso, COS tights, Bruno Frisoni heels, Topshop belt, Tory Burch bag slung to side)
Sometimes “doh” moments can end up as much needed stolen moments hence the smile I think? Loving the sleeveless coat not to mention the entire look.
Hahaha – 2 minutes too late is harsh. You really don’t look like you give a stuff! Great image xx
I think I meant to say you do look like blah blah – you know what I mean
That outfit is gorgeous. Love the vintage Loewe trousers and the Frisoni heels. I have more than my fair share of doh! moments so DON’T PANIC. Your are not alone.

Oh the smirk of disregard. I think it is okay. Something that you turned in to something better. I cannot get over that trench and velvet combo. A streetstyle photographer posted a similar style and I can’t get it out of my head. I am pretty sure it was Dries Van Noten.
