I met William Choi, a designer/stylist at a dinner in Hong Kong whilst I was doing my Joyce project. Steve and I were admiring his ability to teeter around in heels and how well he wore the S/S 09 Gareth Pugh wedges… he declared them as being fairly comfortable. He very briefly showed me his designs from his C+Y jewellery line that is being stocked in On Pedder. Working with a lot of Swarovski, he hand stitches crystal pieces onto thick felt which of course is most welcome for my metal-sensitive skin…
Armed with more information but less images, here's another bout of equilateral triangle usage by Danish London-based jeweller Henriette Loftstrom who has recently joined the Blow Presents roster. You may have seen some of her custom-triangluar body pieces on Little Boots.

This stuff is so rad!! Very sculptural and cyber – and there’s even a shoulder harness made of the triangles! Be still my beating heart. Hmm…now to figure out how to DIY something similar…

Love the Swarovski on felt, I got some crystals recently but I wasn’t sure what to do with them… It almost looks like a DIY replacement for the spiky Givenchy cuffs I REALLY want to buy
