Splash Around In Ink

>> I was going to pair these pics with the previous post because I did think it was slightly hilarious that I turned up at Rad Hourani, where the fans were dressed up in the slickest sea of black, all elastic leggings, pvc, leather and blocked out sunglasses and I wore…

… this Tina Kalivas beauty that comprises a frilly tie-dye dress with a matching wool harness and the Louise Gray fluffy pink mohair coat…

Inappropriate?  Perhaps.  Happiness-inducing?  Most definitely.

  1. It needs a certain (airy, innocent looking) character to pull this look off… It must have been great to stand out from the sea of black! Go, Susie!

  2. AHH Susie Bubble at her absolute best! You look so perfect in your smiley, pastely, layery self (whoa that’s a lot of y’s in one sentence…), i just want to raid your wardrobe sometimes… and i am still so in love with those sock garters like THIIIIIS much, this is the time when i wish i had more money in my lifey. And pastels are my favourite trend this season…
on a side note, sorry to hear about your sad loss of the Yookoo snood, I do hope you find it! I lost my Woody for Topshop jumper a dew weeks ago after getting it for nothing on ebay so I can relate, it broke my heart :'((

  3. clearly I dont pay enough attention, because I just realized you cut your hair! Doh! Just wanted to say the outfit makes me smile and your hair looks beautiful!

  4. “nice outfit..Chinese people really likes colorful outfit.” Nice bit of stereotyping there.
LOVE this outfit for Rad Hourani, and it’s totally appropriate. It’s always good to dress as yourself and stand out in the crowd.

  5. Would it be completely corny and silly to say that the best part of this little bit of going against the tide, is your smile? I’m in love with that, and the bit of pink fluffiness that is your coat.

  6. inappropriate often seems to go with happiness, does it not? Love the mohair coat!
I’ve been quietly reading for the past six months or so, I am just now finally commenting. Love your writing style/what you post about. It’s really refreshing among all the rest of the fashion blog noise

  7. I’d love to have seen you amongst the sea of slick black! This is possibly one of the greatest outfits ever, you just can’t help feeling cheery when you look at it ^^

  14. I have to say-I love wearing all bright outfits like this one. People always ask me why and I simply respond, “Because it makes me happy!”. Bright outfits always tend to brighten my day. They’re hard to find in NY though. Person without any black=what are you doing?
