I feel almost embarrassed to post these as my camera just really REALLY couldn't do Michael Angel's S/S 10 collection justice. What his collection needs is basically a static model, a decent SLR to shoot up close, from different angles to get exactly what is going on in each piece in this rather spectacular collection…
I was already sold from the blurb and get-go really…. inspired by Tamara de Lempicka, Nancy Cunard, Josephin Baker, Schiaparelli and then two eras of Dior (Monsieur Dior and Marc Bohan…)… all this mixed up with Michael's wanting to show that whilst digital print is his thang, that he can cut a good shape or two, too. So in all seriousness, these are just a fashion week flurry taster, to be revisited again…with detailed shots and major picture print porn…
I think the only thing I think I got right were the shoes which were made by Manolo Blahnik, the first time Angel has ever done shoes….
Amazing! I wish I could see them in person.

These are good pics and it must be hard to take them when so much is going on. Loving the shoes too.

Gorgeous prints & shapes, love the Manolo’s!
I know it sounds bitchy, but I spot a couple of fractal prints (a la McQueen S/S 09), but judging by the shoe prints, the rest seems more elf cottage and inviting than crystallized and cold.
I love love the shoes!!
