Some of the Betsey Johnson Archive at Opening Ceremony images have been out there for a while… this being one of them. Thankfully having seen the whole lookbook, the ONE thing that I'm really after are these solid black knit zipper knickers. In fact I'll have to track them down somehow even though they're going into the OC store in Soho only, just purely for the fact that I can wear them on the blog and have the pleasure of typing 'Black Knitted Zipper Knickers'. Zipper knickers, zipper knickers… oh joy…
Though if we're gonna be technical, they're more like knitted shorts to me, longer than the knitted Tao ones which are my only pair of that ilk. There's something to be said about the odd fact that I feel way more comfortable wearing chunky knitted short-shorts than shorts of the same length in a more conventional fabric. Hence why these shall be mine even if I have to beg some poor NYC blogger to track them down for me… 
cool idea, although unless it’s got some strong lycra there, i cannot see how they’d work for hips that are …imperfect.

don’t worry, i am going to be stalking this collection as well and hope to get the guerilla coat among other things. i would not have a problem picking the shorts up for you if i stand a chance!

What about getting men’s thermal long-johns in black and just cutting them off? They are around $6 at Target. Just a suggestion. (I wear em to sleep in.)
They are super! I love the ring on the zipper pull, instead of just a plain old pull.
I work a block away and I plan on picking myself up one of everything in this collection. Let me know if you want a pair, despite the fact that I’m a stranger, it’s fine. 😉

It’s always interesting to me how certain fabrics are more acceptable to us than others – in terms of how daring we might be with colours/hem length, etc. I’m glad it’s not just me!

Ooh, if you like those, but prefer shorter ones you should check out my DIY high-waisted knit shorts 🙂 I’m so into knits this season, it’s almost scary – especially since I didn’t know I could knit anything like that :p
