Don’t Have a Feud With Me

I've not written about a mid-level (not quite high street, not quite designer) shoe brand in a while and I guess I've been a bit slow on the uptake considering this brand isn't exactly new.  Still though, I was delighted to discover Feud London shoes just in time before their A/W 09 collection drops because whilst I love that chunky heel they have going on, their S/S 09 styles are a little too girly for my liking. It's a different kettle of fish however for A/W 09 as they've combined different textures and colours for a heeled brogue that I can see getting much wear out of. Ditto goes for the flat brogues…

Feud is all over Amazon and ASOS as well as Office I think but I should hope that the natural step is a Feud online store so we can bombard their customer service department with emails subject lined  "Purple/Red/Grey Amazingness – Drop Date?!?!?!" (?! x 4 gets people's attention, right?)

  1. Yowsers, that first shoe is great. Gold and green, just right for fuelling my autumn dreams.

  2. Those are psychedelically cool…kind of scream “Susie Bubble” in my opinion! The heel on the first and last pair takes the cake.

  3. I can’t pick up the images, stupid computer, argggh. Anyway, when I saw this post’s title, I thought another designer was giving you sh*t for photographing their clothes. I’m relieved for you that Feud is a brand and not a problem. xo

  4. Totally right about the Feud shoes thing, stand your ground, which you have done already. Good aesthetic, awesome shapes but the colours look generic and whats expected of summer. Too girly, I can see WAG types wearing them.

  5. i can’t see the pics either. i can see all the others, just not this post. even copy+paste the actual url into my browser dosen’t work, which usually does if i can’t see a pic…

  6. Oooh they’re gorgeous! Oh Susie I haven’t had a good old browse of your blog for such a long time, what have I been missing?!? Aaah I hate blocked internets at work *stamps feet, which wish they were encased in above shoes*

  7. Hm…I saw the pics before I left the house this morning (mad dash, didn’t have time to comment), and now I can’t…Might be Internet Explorer? I do recall them being really cool though! πŸ™‚

  8. Thanks for the heads up, these shoes look fab. I love the last pair…they would look awesome as flat brogues too!

  9. dear susie
there seems to be something wrong with the images on this post,it happens to us sometimes, they look like colour negatives on our macs here …..maybe just a mac thing, but thought i should mention.

  10. Well I can’t see the pics but I just fell head over heels (excuse the pun!) for a pair of FEud shoes I found on sale! They are fricking beautiful, and I was trying to avoid all the hype over the label in recent months! How silly was I not to listen!! πŸ™‚

  11. I’m having the same thing on my mac: they look like negatives, but still look brilliant. I thought it was intentional on Feud’s part. It does look striking tho, with these black backgrounds, but the top shoe definitely doesn’t look gold or green.
That sometimes happens if the JPG is in CMYK mode, not RGB. It looks fine until you post it. If you switch the mode and re-save as RGB it will probably work fine on mac or PC.

  12. The photos aren’t working for me, and I am experiencing extreme shoe envy. Is that even possible when I can’t see the shoes?
