GFW 2009: The Plastic Box Bubble

>> So bleary-eyed me hopped back to London this morning, again getting up at stupid o'clock and whizzed to Graduate Fashion Week (good job on the site redesign…MUCH better) straight from the airport.  I can't even hide my sleep deprived self as I have myself a Style  Bubble stand here where I'm blogging from, set up with all the tech tools I need… there will be more posts than usual over the next few days so apologies if your Bloglovin', Twitter feed or RSS feed gets a bit clogged up…

Drop in like a bird if you're about…I promise you the yawning face isn't from boredom but down to severe lack of sleep…

  1. Aw Susie it’s not much of a pad? Not even a sofa? Have a word! Also it’s less of a bubble, more a perspex box. Looks a bit like you are in quarantine! I think you should be in one of these http://bit.ly/sXo8V and a sofa and lots of cushions. Maybe a fountain?

  2. ah my clothes are on the front of the gfw website! Im feeling less shame of unemployment now. It is a far better design, wonder when that happened.
How nice is your stand! I’d happily stay there all week

  3. woah that’s kind of like your website come to life. almost like a 3D walkthrough through stylebubble although t’would need a few more extra florishings and comforts to be a more accurate version of the site 😉

  4. you basically already said it yourself:
i love how you’re Susie Bubble typing in a bubble-boy-like cubicle on your bubble blog.
it’s rad. 🙂 and it makes me happy.

  5. oh look at you susie!! its amazing seeing your webpage blown up full scale as wall paper and you typing inside this plastic cubicle! I wish I could visit… and I hope you’re able to get some sleep soon!

  6. it’s different from your street style on streetpeeper susie, but presents a working hard susie in real life to us. so nice
btw, totally I understand the feel of needing sleep badly, so, take care

  7. I think the stand is pretty cool 🙂 If I were in London I’d drop by to bring you some muffins – and much needed caffeine.

  8. Awh you look so cute in your little bubble, how sweet!! I’d love to be able to drop in! You are seriously jetset!! You should paint little eyes on your eyelids & then no-one would even know you were asleep when they walked by!! 😀 xxx

  9. Must be very strange sitting in your little bubble. Very envious of you though!
I was wondering if any of the graduates are using recycled materials? Seems to be the thing at the moment.

  10. your booth is super cute!! Though I imagine it would feel a little odd if, say, a crowd gathered outside your bubble to watch “the blogger in her native environment” hee hee.

  11. insane! maybe use it as a personal crash pad? sit it on a building roof and it could become a penthouse!
