>>I'm usually not a fan of people bunging me on newsletter mailing lists especially when I haven't opted in specifically. When WWWWD popped up in my Inbox a while ago, I actually stupidly thought somebody had added one too many W's. Doh! Of course… a WWD spoof… it had it coming really. So now I've just received the 'Intellectual' issue and have actually read it through to find that it's a rare mix of what I love about Petit Mal's zine, Holy Moly, inklings of what WWD actually report and complete randomness. It's not exactly bitchy or snarky and it's trying as hard as possible not to be informative. Precisely the sort of 5 minute read you want in your inbox to take up that mid-afternoon space that serves no purpose other than for you to roll your eyes up to the ceiling and start pondering the fungus that's growing up there (perhaps the fungus bit is just specific to my office…).
Add a few more W’s
Oh this is great…absolutely LOLtastic!
Posh addressing columbia..I actually did a double take on the headline before I realized it was a spoof. I must be a quart low!!

Pretty funny. I find some of the real stuff out there is a bunch of double talk and non-informative literature. This might sound stupid, but I love Lucky magazine and also street fashion.
That’s so funny, I want it to arrive in my inbox too!

Oh wow, the “what’s in a name” feature made me laugh pretty hard actually!
Just read it today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. Caustic comedy at its best.
PS. Our Film Studies dept. building in uni here in Dublin also sports a fine fungus 🙁

Fungus on the ceiling, huh?
The newsletter sounds fun. 😀
looks funny, sounds sort of like The Onion of the Fashion world!
LAWL at the Deyn poetry. 😉
Nice! It’s the onion version of fashion news…think I’ll have to sign up as well
When it comes to pretentiousness, it’s hard to outdo the original source. Same with stupidity…I once bought a parody of the National Enquirer, and you couldn’t tell the difference.
