>>This is one of the few occasions where I'm reaching out to readers for help. This is really only applicable to Londoners so apologies for the mis-step post. Did anyone catch the Patrick Wolf My London interview in the newly formatted ES Magazine on Friday? Did anyone pick this tidbit up…
called Jeannette. My designer friends are putting their stuff into it.
It's going to be huge."
Does anyone know about this garage haven called Jeannette….does it perchance have anything to do with the Jeanette who used to do the doors at Boombox? Thinking of Wolf's own taste in stage ensembles and the possible 'designer friends' he's talking about, this converted garage could be something brilliant… Google hasn't thrown up anything as yet… throw me a clue if you can!
**EDIT** Through the magical powers of clever clogs readers and Twitter followers, more information has been unearthed though I think I might have opened up a can of Jeanette-related worms. 10 Blog had some early scoop courtesy of Christopher Kane's chat with ex-Boombox door gal Jeanette. ES Magazine confused the issue by mispelling her name me thinks. Now Urban Junkies have sent out a Where's Wally? plea on their daily newsletter (if you're a Londoner, subscribe for useful London nuggets…)… calling for more information about Jeanette's store which is nowhere to be found up and down Redchurch Street. The final word I've gotten however is that the store isn't actually open until the end of the month and it's off Redchurch Street somewhere on Club Row… Jeanette, answer my bloody Facebook msg will ya?!?
ooh sounds fascinating, but i have never seen it… sigh. would love to tho, so give me a heads up if someone unearths it! 😀

ugh love patrick wolf x
I read about this new ‘Jeanette’ store in i-D mag.
I would have thought Pippa Brooks would know all about it, no? I’m glad you said it’s not open yet – was meaning to head down there. Er, I think I’ll wait!
Here ya go! http://jeanettesshop.blogspot.com/
hey
if you have no luck with hearing from Jeanette – hassle Johnny Woo as he lives with Jeanette
I know where it is, i’ve seen it being built, its in a small garage which is part of a commercial building on club row, behind the shutters which are immediately opposite numbers 7-9 Club Row, you can’t miss it, silver shutters with bits of blue paint on them, they’ve got some weird shopfront being made out of various salvaged doors and window shutters
It’s remarkable for me to have a web site, which is helpful in favor of my know-how.
thanks admin
