I’m thinking that I’m turning into those crazy people who only ever want to decorate different body parts with oddities. Right now, it’s the waist/hips that is getting the spotlight and it has started with the frilly bum bag and now Borba Margo’s S/S 09 collection has put more ideas in the head. Now I know readers often comment with "I could DIY that…!" when I post about new designers/collections, which of course is all very good and admirable but I do feel an inch of guilt knowing that up and coming designers might not be getting the credit and custom that they deserve. Truth of the matter is… right now the chances of me affording any Borba Margo are zilch next to none seeing as my funds are being poured into Christmas gifts and hefty rent. As beautifully crafted as these pieces are, I can but only aspire with an amateurish DIY attempt via an old leather belt and some ruffled satin…
