As I looked at the Christmas tree that Basso and Brooke had created for
Coca Cola, it prompted me to revisit their website which proceeded to
swallo up about half an hour of my time as I gorged on the wonderful
close ups of the S/S 09 collection. I haven’t yet harped on about this
collection yet simply because I didn’t get the chance to see the show
nor did I go to the showroom. However I think the pics speak for
themselves and the mix of prints quite possible makes this my favourite
BB collection yet (not long though until the next show where Bruno and Chris could surpass
this one…). As I flicked through all the bows I suddenly fantasised
about receiving a Basso and Brooke pressie wrapped up in these prints
adorned by the structured bows and inside…
… a whole selection of these shoes created by Raouda Assaf, creating a gigantic bow-decked shoe fest that I would gladly give up my XMas dinner (I hold roast potatoes, cranberry sauce and parsnips in high esteem…). On a less silly and
whimsical note I will seriously enquire as to how I procure a pair of
these beauties as part of my ‘Save up for wicked things that make my
heart go boom, buy less shit’ new year’s resolution.
