Tights in general make up a good chunk of the fashion blogosphere’s posts. It’s the nail polish equivalent in that they’re inexpensive, effective and comes in a gazillion different varieties. People are truly becoming minted with the variety of tights that are available and indeed that the market demands. Afterall, wee aren’t going to sit around and be content with just black fishnets and coloured opaques. The number of sites dedicated to hoisery has undoubtedly gone up and I think this screengrab from site Love Colour, Love Tights sums up the height of madness/variety that the state of hoisery has reached. You can choose by type, colour or pattern with variations reaching 1,248 (it was 1,247 this morning when I first looked at is so it could well be a growing number…).
Happy browsing if you are bothered (I’m sitting this one out due to the fact that the tights in my box are slithering their way out and attacking me in the middle of the night). Alas, they only ship to within the EU but no doubt, a Stateside/Far East equivalent will pop up or perhaps already exists…

Why is it that Europeans get more hosiery options? When I go to Europe I always try to hit a Calzedonia store – amazing tights in a dizzying array of colors and textures for cheap. And then there’s Bebaroque, which I love but it’s so hard to find in the US. I am glad I managed to find a pair of the hot pink fringe tights at the Brooklyn Fox, a couple of blocks from my house! yay!
It’s a shame they don’t list size information.

i just bought 2 pairs of tights at uniqlo today just because they were cheap..stateside we have welovecolors.com they have an amazing variety of styles and colors and patterns…the tie dye ones are ah ma zing.
