Fendi Folds

I know this has nothing to do with Paris but I how could I resist when nude mesh and tons of square flattened folded rosettes that from a distance almost look like hexagons are involved.  Especially when it’s Fendi that is in question.  It’s quite a surprising turn but then again Fendi is one of those labels where people hold poor connontations in their head (double F logomainia etc…) when in reality, there’s always been something a little interesting/bizarre/odd in their collections that goes against their bread and butter line of logoed goods…

I just wish I could dampen the pretty-prettiness of it all with a backcombed messy quiff because I’m pretty sure last time I attempted a quiff, there was a brush stuck in my hair and copious amounts of wasted hairspray to further damage this planet.

  20. You know, Fendi is one of those labels that, despite being super expensive, has cheapened itself, but still brings some fantastic things to the table every once in a while. This post = case in point. These dress are awesome!!! I love love love love 3-d florals.

  24. aah yes, i’m not really a flowry kind of girl, but i still thought these were scrumptious. wish i could do that hair as well, the perfect antidote to all that sweetness!

  27. Oh I’m such a sucker for 3-D embellishments that obviously took a gazillion hours to create…sooooo gorgeous, and the nude coloured base fabric tempers the sacharrine sweetness of the pink flowers so well.

  30. those are stunning! and i know what you mean about fendi. every now and again, they do start a new trend or deliver some surprisingly covetable items.

  39. gorgeous! for some reason I never really think of fendi as a logo-(that’s chanel/gucci/prada for me). i once had fendi sunglasses that i squashed and broke and i wish i had been more careful with them.

  43. this is Painfully beautiful. Fendi always surprises. I think they’ve more than made up for their formerly tacky reputation. and that Hair, what a perfect contrast.

  44. I really love this dress it’s got all my weaknesses wrapped up in one stunning dress … Pink, flowers, nude… I really want to wear it for my wedding does anyone know where I can buy it?? Or how much of is??? Ps I’m in Ireland!!
