KOS’ experimentations with shower puffs/flowers (who wudda thunk it…?) has yielded some fantastic results and seeing House of Boing’s new designs which feature some delectable white ruffles as well as doing their signature classic concertina ‘Boing’ thing…. and with only a few months of summer left….well, me thinks it’s definitely time to ramp up the ruffles and just go ‘all out’ as opposed to sticking to the small-scale stuff. Shower puffs are probably out of the question because I’m rather addicted to that plastic smell and I think I’d look like some sort of odd glue-sniffer if I wore that material but House of Boing’s ‘rental/buy’ options are looking rather delish and since they’re one of those quirky London-based costume/fashion designers I’ve yet to try out…well, the desire for maxi-ruffle action and the sun is telling me to carpe diem….. or carpe ruffles…
seriously…i was floored when i saw michelle’s creation! we have nothing like house of boing here, how fun.

I could not for the life of me figure out the picture on the left for about a minute… but now I’ve got it, haha. Seriously, the ruffle on the right does look like a shower scrubber! How interesting. I’d definitely love the chance to look like a modern twist on the Elizabethan era.
