Revenge is sweet…

I guess this is what you get when you borrow from the boyf because although he was bemused enough, he did proceed to don my Ann Demeulemeester cream biker jacket and wear it rather well…. too well one might say.

Granted, it is a little oversized on me which I kind of like but in the context with his particular outift…the snugger fit works…

Ok, it’s a trade, he gets the Ann D jacket on weekdays and I get his People’s Market blazer AND Hurwundeki black bomber jacket on the weekends…a fair deal, I’d say…

  1. the boyf appears! he looks adorable and the Ann D jacket looks great on him. wish i could find a boy with such great taste in fashion.

  2. Haha, hope you don’t mind me saying so, but your boy is looking very stylish there! You’ve obviously taught him a few things πŸ™‚ The jacket does look good on him, you’d never know it wasn’t a mans jacket.

  3. I have to agree – he looks like a lovely chap!
He *does* work that jacket like a rock star, but there’s no way my bloke would even think about borrowing any of my clothes.
That could be down to my history of mild violence, though.

  4. Hehe… the boyf’s head will grow bigger I’m sure…
DJM: You’re not the first one to make the Hack comparison…. he especially got it a lot at Hyeres

  5. As great as Steve looks in this, I can’t imagine Charlie would be at all chuffed if I could fit her clothes. Steve is one of THOSE guys, isn’t he. (Although don’t take this the wrong way Steve – you are wonderful, just very small.)

  6. My BF accidentally put on a pair of my jeans while getting up early to walk the dogs. They were skinnies with zips at the ankle, the look was somewhat less flattering. The jacket on the other hand, looks fab.

  7. aww i imagine you two look adorable together πŸ™‚
and this is just another reason why ann d is the best. many of her pieces for women are quite androgynous, and work just as well for men.

  8. susie:
    a) you’re the best
    b) your boyfriend really is a cleaner nicer version of jef. hack
    c) the jacket rocks
    d) i think this post really summarizes why we all love you so much

  9. ah he finally properly appears! I still remember that post from eons ago when he was wearing that French Connection sweater and you snapped him at your work before you were together! I have such a soft spot for your relationship since it started around the time mine and my bf’s did! Anyway, as all the others have said before me, the boyf rocks the jacket in true sartorial style

  10. To echo Meg above, it’s nice to see a proper pic of the boyf (after that ages-ago snap of him at the office). But the outfit is seriously cool, dandyish in the best way possible (and yes, rather Jefferson Hack-like too, Queen Michelle has that right).

  11. style salvage!! omg! i did not know. but now i even recognize the same spot to take outfit pix… πŸ™‚ cute.

  12. Hehe…it is funny how seeing someone’s other half gives you a bit more insight…. he’s quite amused as someone also likened him to Mark Ronson yesterday…. random! I’d say he’s more Hack than Ronson…. but all in all, I love him because he’s Steve!
And yes, he is indeed Style Salvage Steve (http://stylesalvage.blogspot.com)
Ooops…the name is out…Thom Wong, you outed him!

  13. looks great! bless him! If i tried to get my great lummox of a boyfriend in my clothes he would rip them! he’s 6’2″ and i’m 5″! plus he’s clumsy! he had to put his t-shirt on 3 times today while i sat in bed saying “you’re t-shirts inside out…it’s still inside out…ok now it’s backwards!”

  14. “And the effect is somewhat of a Hedi Slimane-esque concoction! haha
    ;)”
