Nikicio’s new collaborative project with another label ‘Thanks for Nothing’ has resulted in a range of accessories ‘Millimetre’, that involves a little bit of chaos with their mish-mash of materials. The image that stuck with me though was this one with the multi-patterned, hyper-hyper coloured hands that these three gals are having a bit of fun with. In a self-imagined animation, I just thought these hands could magically multiply and be embroidered onto a strapless prom dress in a random fashion.
Of course, I’d have to get my mitts on a gazillion of these hands to adorn a dress with but I do like to get very hands-on with my projects…. ho ho ho….the puns, the puns…what larks I say!

they make ma bit nostalgic and remind me a little bit of some sandals I made during arts/craft class when I was 6 by tracing my feet on the card. <3 haha!
these are definitely cool. and the dress idea would be so cool. it would be kinda…a not-so-innocent take on psychedelic..

I woudl probably just stick one to the lapel of a plain dark blazer…
But when I see these i also get the temptation to sow two of them together to make a choker round my neck. I’d probably have to make my own for that, these aren’t that big.
