Post-Hyères Syndrome

I have now returned to the land where fashion moves faster than I can think.  I rushed like a madwoman from Stansted airport back into Central London to of course cover the Kate Moss for Topshop opening.  My tiredness, unwillingness to queue/jostle/fight and my overall dishevlled look of shitness (excuse the language but honestly…take a look to the left and only the s word comes to mind…) all means you guys will have to bear with me whilst I slowly edit everything together to bring you half-decent coverage.  Let’s just say, the snap back to London reality is not doing wonders for my appearance.  So whilst you’re checking the blog daily, wondering why Susie is being a slow-mo, just look to the left of this post.  Enough said really…

  1. hi,
i honestly don’t see what’s wrong with your outfit here. (did a friend of yours take the photo? i like the fact that you look down to the side and shift your feet inwards) i really like this layered look, it can never look out of place, especially in an urban environment. i’m curious about the bag, though. are these flowers stitched or printed on it? and were are your shiny leggings from? are they made from spandex/nylon or are they a nicer material?

  2. You do look tired, Susie…maybe you should take a bit of a rest, you were in the hospital not all that long ago. But I do like what you’ve got on in the pic.

  3. take a rest, girl. i’ll still be checking obsessively for updates though : )

  4. hope u get better soon, but I have to say Amy is right: if that’s how u look on bad days you are the most enviable person in the world..

J-Chan: The bag is Vivienne Westwood – quite old….
Lovelylick: No, the t-shirt isn’t of a skull. It’s a graphic print t-shirt by Jens Laugesen.
