Jewellery for me is usually an afterthought when coming up with an outfit. It’s usually fitting in the jewellery in an outfit rather than the other way around. To be frank, my money spent on jewellery and money spent on shoes and clothes ratio is about 1:20. So, I don’t honestly have too much to spare on statement jewellery. However, I think that ratio will have to undergo a major upweight because it seems everyday, I’m discovering sublime jewellery which I’m willing to fork out for despite the higher price tag. Quite rightly so, as I may or may not wear my expensive clothes in a few years time but jewellery is truly timeless. Seems ludicrous that I never thought used this reasoning before!
Rest assured then, that I will upping my jewellery:clothes ratio at Bella’s Vintage Jewelry Box. To say that Bella has an eye would be an understatement. These pieces aren’t just everyday thrift shop costume jewellery but really smack of quality and uniqueness Every piece there is chosen for a specific reason or whimsy, which she playfully explains in the blurb when you click ‘Details’. About a vintage locket ring:
Your fingers do a lot for you: they type 9-5 to make you money, point at the menu for your nicoise salad to keep you fed, dig through your purse for your Chanel lipgloss.
Keep a pic of your lovies where it really matters, with this vintage Avon locket ring.
I find it so much more personable than just robotically clicking ‘Add to shopping cart’ and ticking a quantity box. There’s a wide variety of decades and styles, so you’d be hard pressed to not find something that didn’t tickle your fancy. Bella also offers advice about how to care and store your vintage treasure. Here are my picks. That flowered painted ring will be mine, oh yes, oh yes……
