Don’t drop too much money

I title this post with a caution because online sales are really quite dangerous.  It’s sale shopping without the crowds and queues.  It’s sale shopping without bumping into gaggles of people brandishing big heaving bags (and they’re always the sort of hard-cased, cardboard bags that dent your legs as you’re walking).  It’s sale shopping with a seemingly bottomless budget as you hand over your credit card details without a care in the world.  With all that said, there are some fantastic bargains online at the moment.

Le Train Bleu are having a FIRECRACKER 4th of July sale.  Until, 5th July, if you enter the word FIRECRACKER in the promotion code section, you’ll get a 30% discount on all purchases.  That applies to the stuff that’s already on sale too!  Lovely Bi La Li pieces here which are tempting.

Net-a-Porter, stockists of lots of covetable labels, starts their 70% off sale tomorrow, 2nd July and lasts until 18th July.  A particularly good shoe sale.

Aloha Rag, is having one of those great sales where you think you’re paying full-price for something but when it comes to checkout, lo and behold, 50% has been knocked off.  This applies to most of their stock.  Don’t miss out as this ends on the 14th July.  The Pierre Hardy shoes and Bernhard Willhelm pieces are pretty fab.

Pollyanna. Avant garde, gorgeous goodness.  The discounts are pretty crazy.  Comme des Garcons wired skirt reduced from £800 to £250.  Anything with a over 50% discount sounds good to me.  Definitely worth a look if you love the Yohji, CdG, Junya, YSL etc.

Yoox is one of those places where you really need to devote some proper surfing time in order to yield any goods.  I actually need search tactics to finely toothcomb things out.  However, their sale is pretty gargantuam (on top of their already pretty decent prices) so if you have an hour or two, it’s preferable to wrestling with a stubborn female who won’t let go of that Miu Miu £40 top you spotted.
