My Ebay experience has taught me that spending hours searching for random words can often turn up quite wonderful things. In recent years, lots of vintage sellers often name-drop labels like Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Miu Miu, Marni etc. to yield a better chance of people viewing their items. In any case, when you type in these labels in the vintage section of Ebay, you’ll often find things that inspired stuff on the catwalks or maybe even look better than the labels you typed in – Marc Jacobs, Chloe etc. So here is my little picks of eBay finds ferreted out by my random searching. Remember to tick the ‘Include description’ box to get better results!
70’s trenchcoat, plaid tunic with pockets, sailboat wrap skirt, indie blue flats, 70’s navy clutch wallet // Cream ruffle hat, romantic Gunne Sax blouse, 80s suspender pinafore dress, 70’s tan round toe heels, 50’s black alligator bag
60’s cap sleeve tulip polka dots print mini-dress, mod red tote, black platforms with floral straps // Blue/orange reversible light jacket, 60’s shantung silk mini shift dress, striped overalls jumper dress, 70s woven leather wedge peeptoes

i must not look at your ebay pics . . .
i ended up buying that YSL dress after I saw it here and fell in love with it . . .
Glad I could help spend your money…. haha…. oh dear, I’m detrimental to people’s shopping budgets!
Although be warned those of you who do this in your auctions, as it’s actually against ebay policy to put designers’ names in your descriptions/titles (unless the item is by the designer), even as a comparison. I didn’t know this until I did it with a vintage handbag auction and some spiteful person reported my auction to ebay and I had to change it.
Gotta tell you, you are a master shopper – another profession in store for you???
thank you 😀 this is awesome
