I had an awful experience with Stella McCartney shoes once. Animal-friendly they may be, but the pair of patent pointy pumps I bought gave me pain that I thought impossible for a reasonably low-heeled shoe. I had to beg the SA at Selfridges to take them back even though they were on sale.
However, I think I can just about cope with the bags. I don’t have any ethical qualms about wearing leather but if man-made materials can look as good as this, then why the heck not? The metallic bucket is from the current S/S collection and the Morgan vanity bag with embedded jet stones is from the A/W06 collection. So….I’m guessing, the first will some how make its way into my hands via the sale season and the latter, I’ll skip lunch for about a month and see how far that goes towards procuring it. The jet chain strap and the shiny stones have bewitched me in a way that no bag has ever done before. Just don’t add an ‘IT’ tag on it, otherwise I may have to revise my opinion…..
I had similar experience with her shoes!!! They are the least comfortable shoes I ever had even tho they were flats!
Her bags r gorgeous, but I think they are too pricey for their materials. ….eerrr…. : b
