Take a young and innocent model put her in the whirlwind of the four fashion weeks and the resulting pictures just makes you envy her. Jalouse’s editorial of Cristina Cosio during the course of all four fashion weeks brings out the green eyed monster in me.

Ah…the life of a model just seems too fab if these pictures are anything to go by!

Jealousy doesnt even begin to cover it! THe more i here about fashion weeks and designer parties the more i truly believe that this is so what i was meant to do. BUt getting from a tiny island in the Caribbean to the fashion capitals of the world does pose a bit of a problem- and besides, i am 16 so my time has like almost run out. All i know is that if i am 30 and have yet to grace a Paris runway, i am going to be one bitter person…
Merci Beaucoup!
What a wonderful fashion week. I also love most of these pictures, and also the dresses she wore. Sure it’s nice to travel to many countries, eh?
For those of you who like Benjamin Nitot’s work (Benjamin is the photographer whose work is reproduced here), you may want to head to http://www.nitot.org/
i dunno i did the model in paris and tokyo thing. and you can live that way or not. some models sit at home and watch movies and carry their belongings in paper bags [my friend kirten owen]. all that stuff kind of wierded me out, living the life that is. but i guess it is nice to have the choice.
some australian website (vogue perhaps? i don’t remember) had a “model’s diary” from gemma ward that i read through a few weeks ago… her account made it sound a lot more hectic, tiring, and generally-work-like (with a few really cool moments in-between, of course) than i would have expected. things like fittings that go until 2 in the morning and then getting up for a 9 am show, etc… definitely deflated the fantasy for me. but i loved reading about/seeing pics of gemma – she’s one of my faves.
