Now, I’m not usually one to shirk away from the oddball trends, the things where you look at it and just go ‘Huh??’. I’m a firm believer of making most fashion items work on some level or another. However, I think I’ve been stumped. I came across these on My Tights. The description on the site is baffling enough – footless over the knee leggings. I think that name would satisfy any hoisery affectionado. It’s the concept that weirds me out. I like legwarmers, but I like them slouchy. I like footless tights, but I also like something to cover up my crotch. I like over knee socks, but I like them to have feet. See how this is confusing my brain! I suppose I could try layering them over tights and wearing them with short skirts, dresses or shorts (any longer and that would sort of defeat the point of these things….). Perhaps they might work in another colour other than bright rancid yellow (black, beige, royal blue are options…..). Or maybe I’m living in cloud cuckoo land and holding out too much hope. So it remains to be seen whether I will hand over £7.99 and give this hoisery oddity a chance.
I think you up date your blog more than any other person on the net-which is great! Are you as big a time waster as me perhaps?
Those tights are an ugly color I think-or it could be just the way they have the model styled-reminds me of the way they style em on ASOS–they take a decent thing and make it kinda trashy-why?
It’s my job….. they pay me to surf the net…ho ho….. little do they know what I’m really doing….
I have seen a friend of mine rocking these type of cut-off leggings and they look good on her. She was wearing something cute and somehow, it made me want some.
